Pluriform Studio

With Pluriform Studio modelers and knowledge workers can quickly and simply build and adapt applications. It is a modeling platform, not a programming platform, because:

  • Specifying is programming. Pluriform uses a specification language to model business processes in such a way that these models, are both readable for modelers and knowledge workers, as well as executable by the Pluriform Engine. No human translation effort (programming) is needed to transform such a business model and its processes into executable softwarecode. That is why we don't have a subsidiary in India.

  • Isolation of the infrastructure. Modelers and knowledge workers don't need any knowledge about the underlying technology. The way models and data are stored in a database, transactions are monitored and communication with external systems is done; it is all fully transparant for the modeler.

  • Reusing existing knowledge (common sense). Pluriform has a library with ready-to-use objects from which a new model can be quickly constructed. Businessmodels also can litterally be modeled (like wax) to make them fit for a specific application. Parts (=objects) which have grown (better and mature) in the Pluriform Community can be added to the library, to be reused in other models.

  • Innovation of the development proces. Our modeling platform not only is a development environment, it is also an application which facilitates all parties involved in Pluriform with all other business processes. This way the innovation proces is fully integrated with relation management, e-mail, the Pluriform Community, projectmanagement, hours accounting and finance.
